The Residence at Bala Cynwyd

Project: Cooke Brown was the EOR on this project, and later on, awarded by Klover Contracting Inc., Cooke Brown also provided delegated engineering design for the cold-formed metal stud bearing and shear wall panel systems. It consists of five levels of plank bearing on metal stud walls, over two levels of steel podium.

Situated on five, sloped acres with unsuitable soils and a protected stormwater culvert, the project required the demolition of existing structures, extensive shoring, retaining walls, two pedestrian bridges and one vehicular bridge, and major streetscape work.
